Customers agree to receive text messages from the company that holds their rental-purchase agreement. The agreement includes a text-message consent clause that the customer signs, on paper or electronically, before any text is sent, and the company keeps the signed agreement as its record of consent. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of any purchase or rental, and a customer can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP.

Before a company sends texts to its customers, RTOCore tests the same messages using test data. Test messages are sent only to RTOCore’s two owners, who have agreed in writing to receive them, and every test message begins with “RTOCore test”.

To receive these test messages, opt in on the text message opt-in form. The consent wording the two owners agreed to for these tests:

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will get one message confirming the opt-out and no further texts unless you reply START to opt back in.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging consent and opt-in information will not be shared with any third parties, other than the messaging service providers that carry the messages for us, and only to deliver them.
